Nickel Plus Square Exchange
2009 - 2010

Finished Square Size - 6"
How this works:

1.

The number of participants determines the number of squares you will bring to the next meeting, so sign up at the beginning of each meeting.

2.

If you choose to participate and can't attend the next meeting you must turn your squares in early at any of the Monday Work Days or send your squares to the next business meeting via a guild member.

3.

Buy or use from your stash the designated "theme" fabric. It must be 100% cotton, high quality quilting fabric. Choose a fabric quality YOU would like to receive.

4.

Cut into accurate 6" squares. Make sure the selvedge is NOT included in your cut square.

5.

Place squares in a zip-lock bag marked with your name.

6.

At the next business meeting place the bag in the designated "Nickel Plus Square Exchange" container when you arrive. Also indicate in the "register" whether you plan to participate again in the next month's exchange. This is a good exchange because you can participate every month or only on months that interest you.

7.

During the meeting the squares will be divvied out so that when you leave you'll leave with a variety of 6" squares.

8.

At the end of every meeting we will also tell you how many squares to make for the next month's exchange.
