The Piecemakers by the Bay Quilt Guild is a non-profit organization founded in 1991. The guild has evolved from a “sit and sew” to a viable partnership with the community.

We have made and donated quilts to EMS, San Patricio County Abused Children, the Battered Women’s Center, The Aransazu Camp for Children. We also have formed a partnership with Habitat for Humanity, and present a quilt to each new homeowner.

Our Quilts for Kids program is an ongoing endeavor, and we have presented hundreds of quilts to local children, as well as to guilds in the hurricane ravaged areas.

A new project is Quilts for Heroes, which provides red, white and blue lap quilts to injured veteran heroes from our community.

We also host a bi-annual quilt show from which some proceeds benefit local charities and deserving entities.

We meet every Monday at the First Baptist Church of Rockport, 1515 N Live Oak @ Enterprise, Rockport, TX.
